Wine Islands Growers Association

(formerly Vancouver Island Grape Growers Association VIGGA)

WIGA is an incorporated non-profit society to promote quality wine grape growing on S. Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. The society provides educational programs, information, and services to assist in successful wine grape growing in the region.


February meeting: Pruning Workshop and MSI Course February 20 at Dragonfly Hill Vineyards in Saanichton – more next week or two.   Thank you Carol for hosting this February event.

From the January meeting: Many thanks to Susan and Jeff (Beaufort Winery), Michael (Saturna Family Estate Vineyard) and Jackie (Starling Lane Winery)  for an informative discussion at the January meeting on how to best utilize your tasting room to maximize sales.
Also thanks toMark, for gathering the Van. Is. Foch wines for sampling and to John (Starling Lane Winery), Paul Troop (Saltspring Island Vineyards ) and Susan (Beaufort Winery) for telling us how they make and blend these wines.
